Open finance – how the EU regulation on the framework for access to financial data can transform the financial services sector

The presentation addressed the issue of Open Finance – what is the current status of legislative work on the FIDA regulation and how the proposed regulation relates to existing EU acts regulating data access rules. The presentation also discussed the expected difficulties in the operational implementation of the obligations provided for in the regulation (doubts about the scope of data subject to access, costs of implementation) and whether FIDA can really open the way for the creation of innovative financial products.
