Amendment to the charter of the bank

We advised the bank in the form of a joint stock company on the following project:

ADVISING ON THE DRAFT AMENDMENT TO THE CHARTER OF THE BANK IN THE FORM OF A JOINT STOCK COMPANY AND ADVISING IN THE PROCESS OF OBTAINING A PERMIT FOR THE AMENDMENT FROM THE POLISH FINANCIAL SUPERVISION AUTHORITY

We advised the bank in the form of a joint stock company on obtaining a permit from the Polish Financial Supervision Authority to amend its charter. The principal of DLK Legal planned to expand the scope of the operations of the bank to include new categories of banking activities, which required adjusting mandatory items of the charter, in compliance with the provisions of the Banking Law.

The advisory services of DLK Legal included:

• market analysis of the charter of the bank as regards typical ways of classifying services undertaken by a client of DLK Legal
• development of the suggested amendments to the charter and support in the preparation of the application of the bank to be submitted with the PFSA
• support in ongoing communication with the PFSA and provision of all necessary explanations during the proceedings

The project ended with the PFSA issuing a decision authorizing the amendments.
