online platform - mobility
Interoperable mobility services
We advised online platform providing personal mobility solutions in:
Integration of third-party mobility services into the app
Online platforms often transform themselves into marketplaces, enabling the use of goods and services provided by third parties. Also, mobility platforms often add third-party solutions to their original services (for example, the ability to use a scooter in a cab app). Integrating third-party solutions requires identifying and securing the underlying legal and regulatory threads, including the basis for data transfer and processing (including pre-integration), contract effectiveness, payment processing, billing.
DLK’s advisory included:
- legal qualification of the roles of all the actors involved in a typical scenario.
- determination of the basis and scope of data processing
- determination of the mode of settlement, including the use of payment tools of the platform in the payment service scenario and the transaction not subject to the payment services regulations.
